By creating an account or using Scripture Trainer, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app.

The service

Scripture Trainer is a Bible memory app. It is provided free of charge, as it is, with no subscription and no purchase. There is no guarantee that it will be available without interruption, or that it will remain available indefinitely.

Your account

You need an account to use the app. You agree to give a real email address you control, to keep your password to yourself, and to be responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old.

You can delete your account at any time from within the app; see delete your account.

Your content

The cards, notes, and themes you create are yours. You keep all rights to them. We claim no ownership and no licence beyond what is technically required to run the service — storing your content and showing it back to you.

You are responsible for what you put in a card. Do not upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to store.

Bible text and translations

When you use "Fetch text", verse text is retrieved from third-party providers — the YouVersion Platform API and bible-api.com. That text remains the property of its copyright holders and is provided under their licence terms, not ours. Which translations are available depends on the licence granted to this app, and that set can change without notice if a provider changes its terms.

Prepared card sets published on this site are offered for personal study and memorisation. Quoted Scripture in them belongs to its respective copyright holders.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• attempt to access another user's account or data, or to circumvent the security rules that separate accounts;
• probe, scan, overload, or otherwise interfere with the service or its infrastructure;
• scrape, resell, or redistribute Bible text obtained through the app in breach of the copyright holder's licence;
• use the app for anything unlawful.

Ending your use

You may stop using Scripture Trainer and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or remove an account that breaches these terms, or where doing so is necessary to protect other users or comply with the law. If the service is discontinued, reasonable notice will be given so you can export or copy your cards.

Disclaimer and liability

Scripture Trainer is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost or corrupted data. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot bear to lose.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer law that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The date at the top will change when they are, and continuing to use Scripture Trainer afterwards means you accept the update.
