Delete your account

For the Scripture Trainer app (org.scripturetrainer.app). Last updated 14 September 2026.

You can delete your Scripture Trainer account and all of its data from inside the app. No email request and no waiting period is involved.

How to delete it

1. Open Scripture Trainer and sign in.
2. Go to the Account tab.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Enter your password to confirm. Your password is required because this cannot be undone.

What is deleted

Everything belonging to the account is erased:

• every verse — reference, verse text, and your notes;
• every theme, with its name and colour;
• your app settings and practice preferences;
• your profile, including your display name;
• your sign-in record itself, so the email address is free to use again.

What is not deleted

• A theme someone else already accepted from you. Once accepted, those verses are a copy in their account and belong to them — deleting your account does not reach into another person's data.
• Any email you sent to support, which is kept as ordinary correspondence. Ask and it will be deleted too.

Nothing is retained for analytics, backups, or marketing after deletion, because none of those things exist.

If you cannot sign in

Deleting from within the app needs your password. If you have forgotten it, use Forgot password on the sign-in screen to reset it, then follow the steps above.

If you cannot regain access to the email address on the account, write to Reveal email address from any address and say which account you mean. You will be asked for enough detail to confirm the account is yours before anything is deleted, and the request will be completed within 30 days.
